Shipping Policy
Production time, shipping estimates by destination, delivery restrictions, tracking, import charges, and help with your Name & Kin order.
Last updated: September 24, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed at nameandkin.com. Most of our products are personalized, so delivery includes two stages: making your order and shipping it to you.
1. Production time
Most personalized orders require 2–4 business days for production before dispatch. A different production estimate shown on the product page or at checkout takes priority for that item.
Production starts after we receive your order and the personalization details needed to make it. Missing details, large orders, or busy periods may require additional time. If we need information from you or become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays in the relevant production or delivery location.
2. Standard shipping times
Standard shipping times vary by destination. Once your personalized order has been produced and dispatched, the estimated transit times for eligible addresses are:
| Destination | Estimated transit time after dispatch |
|---|---|
| United States — contiguous U.S. only | 5–9 business days |
| United Kingdom | 4–7 business days |
| Canada | 6–10 business days |
| Australia | 6–9 business days |
| Other destinations (where delivery is available) | 6–9 business days |
These transit estimates do not include production time. Your total estimated delivery time is production time plus shipping time. They are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates; customs checks, public holidays, weather, and transport disruption may affect delivery.
The address restrictions below apply to every destination. For destinations other than the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, use the destinations available at checkout to check whether an order can be placed. The other-destination estimate does not extend our delivery coverage. After placing an eligible order, you can contact us with your order number if you have a delivery question.
3. Addresses and areas we do not serve
Please provide a complete physical street address within our delivery area. We do not ship to:
- P.O. boxes (postal boxes).
- APO or FPO military addresses.
- Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico.
- Other offshore islands and remote areas.
If you are unsure whether your address is covered, email service@nameandkin.com with your destination and postal code before placing an order.
If an unsupported address is identified on an order, we will contact you to arrange an eligible delivery address. If delivery cannot be arranged, we will cancel the affected order and refund the amount paid.
4. Shipping costs and free shipping
The shipping charge for an eligible address is shown at checkout before you place the order. When our free-shipping offer is displayed, eligible orders over US$75 receive free tracked shipping. The offer’s conditions and checkout total confirm whether your order qualifies.
Free shipping does not extend delivery to excluded addresses or include import charges unless expressly stated at checkout.
5. Tracking your order
We send tracking details after your parcel has been dispatched and the carrier has created its shipment record. The first tracking update may take a little time to appear.
Use the link in your shipping email or visit our Track Order page. If you cannot find your tracking details, contact us with your order number and checkout email address.
6. Checking or changing your address
Before ordering, check the recipient’s name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, postal code, country, and contact details.
If you spot a mistake, contact us immediately. We can only try to change an address before dispatch; a change is not guaranteed once the parcel is prepared or handed to the carrier. Any replacement address must be within our delivery area.
7. Customs, duties, and import taxes
International deliveries may be subject to import duties, local taxes, and customs or carrier clearance fees. Unless checkout states that these charges are included or prepaid, you are responsible for charges assessed on your shipment where applicable law permits.
You should not be charged twice for the same duty or tax already collected at checkout. If a carrier requests a charge you believe you have already paid, send us the notice and order details so we can help check it.
Customs authorities decide whether an inspection or additional information is needed. Clearance can extend the delivery estimate. We will help with shipment information where needed; our obligations and your applicable rights remain as described in our Terms & Conditions.
8. Delays or a parcel that appears lost
If the estimated transit period has passed or tracking has not updated for an unusual length of time, email us with your order number and tracking details. We will review the shipment with the carrier and explain the next steps.
If a parcel is confirmed lost before delivery, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. A delay does not automatically remove your right to cancel or receive a remedy where applicable law provides one.
9. Tracking says delivered, but you cannot find it
Check the delivery location, household members, neighbors, building reception, and any carrier notice. Contact us if the parcel is still missing; you may also ask the carrier for its delivery details.
We will help review the tracking and available delivery evidence. A tracking status alone does not prevent us from investigating a missing-parcel report.
10. Damage, defects, or an incorrect item
Please report a damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect item promptly. Submit eligible return or exchange requests within 30 calendar days of delivery. This request window does not shorten your legal rights.
Include the order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos of the item, packaging, shipping label, and affected area. Keep the item and packaging while we review your request. See our Return & Refund Policy for available remedies and return instructions.
11. Returned or refused parcels
If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, missed collection, or refused delivery, contact us. We will review the reason for the return and explain any available redelivery or refund options.
Any reshipping cost or deduction from a refund must reflect actual recoverable costs and applicable law. We will explain the calculation before taking further action. A returned or refused parcel does not automatically mean that the entire payment is non-refundable.
Do not send a return to the address on the parcel or a company office unless our support team confirms that it is the correct return location.
12. Contact us
For shipping questions or address checks, email service@nameandkin.com, call +1 (213) 267-1435, or use our Contact Us page.
Our support team works Monday to Friday and normally replies within 24 business hours.
