MAI RUI ARTS & CRAFTS CO., LIMITED operates the store and is responsible for the personal information covered by this policy (the data controller where that term applies). In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company. Huizhou Ruiteng E-Commerce Co., Ltd. supports our supply chain, order fulfillment, and logistics and receives the information needed for those services. Company and office details appear in Section 11. You can contact our team at service@nameandkin.com.

We receive information from you, your browser, and the providers involved in your order. If someone buys a gift for you, they may give us your name, delivery details, and personalization information. You do not need to allow optional cookies or agree to marketing to place an order.
3. Personalization and photos
We use the names, photos, messages, and other content you submit to make your item and provide related support. We share the necessary content with the people or production partners working on your order. We do not publish your private personalization content or use it in public advertising without separate permission.
Please only submit content you are entitled to use and share. For gifts involving another person, provide only the details needed for the order.
Production photos and files are kept while needed to complete the order and handle related quality issues, replacements, or disputes. Photos sent to report damage are kept with the support request. See Section 6 for more information about retention.
4. Payments and sharing information
Payment service providers
We use third-party payment service providers to process payments. Available options are shown at checkout. Your chosen provider handles payment details and may collect billing, contact, device, and transaction information to complete the payment and prevent fraud.
We receive the information needed to confirm and manage your payment, such as the transaction reference, payment status, payer details, and refund records. Depending on the payment method, this may include the card brand and last four digits. Please do not send full card numbers, security codes, or payment passwords to customer support.
The provider handling your payment may process this information under its own privacy notice, including for fraud prevention and legal obligations. You can review that notice through the provider’s payment service or contact us for details about the provider used for your transaction.
Other recipients
We share the information needed for website hosting, security, production, delivery, customer support, and transactional email services. Our supply chain and logistics company receives the relevant order, personalization, recipient, and delivery details to arrange production and fulfillment. For example, a production partner needs your selected design, and a carrier needs the recipient’s name and delivery address. Advertising measurement providers may receive the information described in Section 5.
Some providers, including payment companies, also use information for their own security and legal obligations under their privacy notices. We may share information with advisers or authorities when required by law, to address fraud or legal claims, or as part of a business sale or reorganization, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to support essential shopping features, remember your preferences, understand website use and measure advertising performance. Essential cookies are needed for services such as sign-in, security, your cart and checkout.
Website analytics may include pages viewed, visit duration, interactions, traffic sources and purchases. Basic website activity records may be collected without cookies. We use this information to improve the store and evaluate its services, subject to applicable law and your available privacy choices.
We use Google Ads for advertising measurement. Google may receive website interaction information and limited purchase information, such as an order reference, value and currency. Advertising measurement may also take place without advertising cookies. Google’s use of information is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
You can review or change optional cookie choices at any time through Cookie settings. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can browse and shop without accepting optional cookies. We honor applicable privacy requests and supported browser opt-out signals. Our Cookie Policy explains cookie categories and durations.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is needed for its purpose:
- Account details: while needed to provide your account and requested services.
- Orders and payment records: to complete orders, provide after-sales support, and meet applicable tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
- Personalization files and support messages: to complete the order or resolve the request, including related replacements, complaints, or disputes.
- Privacy and communication choices: while needed to honour your choices and handle related requests. We may retain a limited record of an opt-out so we do not contact you contrary to your request.
- Cookies and website activity records: cookies have the durations described in our Cookie Policy. Website activity records have no fixed retention end date; you may request access or deletion, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Some records may need to remain longer because of a legal obligation or an unresolved dispute. Backup copies may take additional time to expire. You can contact us to ask about retention or request deletion.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and secure connections, to protect personal information. No website or storage system is completely secure.
Our store operator is based in Hong Kong, and our supply chain and logistics company is based in China. Your information may be processed in Hong Kong, in China for production and fulfillment, and in other countries where our payment, hosting, or delivery providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Transfers covered by EEA or UK data protection law are subject to additional legal safeguards. Contact us to ask where your information is processed and for details of the transfer arrangements and safeguards that apply.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information. You may also have rights to restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses.
Send requests to service@nameandkin.com or through our Contact Us page. Include enough information, such as your order number or account email, to help us find your records. You do not need an account to make a request. We may need to verify your identity or, if you act for someone else, your authority.
If you receive marketing emails from us, you can opt out through the unsubscribe link provided in those emails or by contacting us. Order and service messages may still be sent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or reason we cannot fulfill a request.
EEA and United Kingdom
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Our contract with you: to process your purchase and provide order-related services.
- Legal obligations: for required tax, accounting, and other records.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the store, prevent fraud, resolve problems, and deliver orders using recipient details. We balance these needs against the affected person’s rights.
- Consent: for optional tracking or marketing where required, and separately permitted public use of your private content.
You may object to direct marketing at any time. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons related to your situation. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, with an extension where the law allows. You can complain directly to your local EEA data protection authority or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
California
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our business and your information, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete information; opt out of its sale or sharing for advertising; and limit certain uses of sensitive information. An authorized agent may submit a request for you. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Sections 1, 2, 4, and 5 explain the information categories, sources, purposes, and recipients. Our use of Google Ads and your advertising choices are explained in Section 5. Contact us to exercise your applicable rights, including any sale or sharing opt-out. If California’s Shine the Light law applies, you may also request information about qualifying disclosures for third parties’ own direct marketing.
9. Children’s information
Our products are made for children, but our website, accounts, and checkout are intended for adults. An adult may provide a child’s name or photo to personalize an item. We use that information for the order and related support, as explained above.
Parents or guardians can contact us about a child’s information or request its correction or deletion. If you believe a child has submitted information directly without required permission, please let us know so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. The latest version will appear here with the updated date. For significant changes, we will provide a prominent website notice and, where appropriate, contact you by email. Where required, we will notify you and obtain consent before a new use begins.
